Educated as geometrician and surveyor engineer. Following his experience as site supervisor at Santo da Serra 27 hole project in Madeira Island, studied and became Junior Golf Architect at RTJI. Among many projects with Mr. Jones at the time, most notables in Europe and Africa, 27 hole CastelConturbia – Italy, 30 Grand Motte, 36 Joyenval – Paris, Riviera Cannes, Golf d’Esterel, Moliets – France, La Palmerie Marrakech – Morocco, 18 Marbella Golf, and was involved with renovations at Valderrama prior to the 1997 Ryder Cup. With Cabell Robinson, he was associate designer from 1989 to 1993, sharing all responsabilities in office and field.
Jorge established his own firm in 1993. He specializes in adapting his designs to the existing landscape, preserving the native beauty of the site and protecting the enviroment. Jorge’s creativity and dedication to excellence result in beautiful, challenging and personalized memorable courses.
Alexandre ribeiro joined the firm in 1995 and was responsible for the computerization of the company producing documents and technical drawings. He specializes in computer assisted technical drawings and documents, 3d models and rendering, image processing and webdesign, among others.
William F. Boswell and Jorge Santana da Silva have been working together since they joined the European office of Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
Today the close friends continue to collaborate on each other´s projects. William Boswell is a member of ASGCA (American Society of Golf Course Architects).
